On April 21, 2026, the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Ukrainian Association of International Law" and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine concluded a Memorandum of Understanding.

The document was signed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Karasevych and President of the All-Ukrainian Public Organization "Ukrainian Association of International Law" Olga Butkevych.

The Memorandum defines the basis for the development of cooperation in a number of priority areas, in particular in the field of application of international legal mechanisms and instruments to protect the interests of Ukraine and strengthen international legal counteraction to Russian aggression.

A separate area of ​​interaction between the parties is the development of the Ukrainian doctrine of international law.

The Memorandum, in particular, states that the Parties will cooperate to "facilitate the activities of the official printed edition of the UAIL – "Ukrainian Journal of International Law", which is also devoted to issues of Ukrainian foreign policy."
